Man: You’re cute!
Woman: I’m not cute I’m a grown woman!
Man: That’s a compliment coming from a guy like me!
Fast Forward 10 years later and they’re still married. This sums up in a nutshell part of the converstation a couple we met over the weekend had when they first met. She brought up how her husband used a bad line when he met her, his response was, “it must have worked” while showing his wedding band.

That was definitely a bad pickup line….a turn-off!!! If a man said that to me, I would think that he was too cocky.
I met my husband through a mutual friend. It was both of our birthday weekend…so we immediately had something in common. He gave me a big handsome smile, said happy birthday, and told me that he would be in my town on business in a month and that we should go out then. The rest was history!!

This comment caused a lot of conversation at the gathering we were at but I was the only one that supported this brother. Well partially. My point being all of the guys that told the woman that night how beautiful she was, how they could do this for her and do that for her and how she was the best thing going (even though they didn’t know her from Adam) were probably all Jokers. (The guy pointed out that there was another guy the woman was talking to that night, well he saw him a week later riding a bike down the street, take from that what you will) If it’s been 10 years since that night, obviously she got the best thing going that evening, right? Now the last part of that statement, “that’s a compliment coming from a guy like me” is a bit much ha ha. I couldn’t have pulled that one off and the other fellas at the gathering agreed that the last part may have made this the worst pickup line ever. But once again like he pointed out, he got the ring! A pickup line is only bad if it doesn’t work right? Let us know what you think!
