Christmas Debt – TheMom

Christmas spending is just getting out of hand.  I feel compelled to over spend when I see all of the things that my family and friends are buying.  I try to stay within a budget.  But somehow I feel I have not spent enough if I give someone a gift that is not as expensive as the one they have given me.  It actually takes the fun out of Christmas Day.  I just wish we could skip all of the gift giving and celebrate the birth of Christ and enjoy our family fellowship.  Does this sound selfish?
