I’ve been “Bama-boozled”

Just yesterday I was posting about how Obama had a double digit lead on Hillary. What the heck happened. I’m never believing the polls again. I was disappointed when I turned on CNN at 8PM EST last night and saw her ahead 40%-34% then awoke to find she had officially pulled it out. After Iowa I finally bought into the hype only to be let down, one state away. Oh well, on to South Carolina.

From the Washington Post:

Obama Tries to Prove Electability to Blacks in S.C.

GREENWOOD, S.C., Jan. 8 — Sen. Barack Obama’s visit in June to this rural town so delighted its African American residents that their only complaint was that not enough people had been invited to the small gathering.

Take heart! It was just the other day when Obama was behind Clinton by double digits in NH. So his second place finish of just a couple of percentage points behind Clinton was still a great accomplishment and extremely good. The primary season is now a real “horse race.” If you have some spare time, do some research on how NH’s primary is an “open primary.” He running up against a huge political machine that took for granted that Clinton would just be crowned. Obama is making people sweat and say & do some weird and stupid things. HClinton saying that Obama is no MLK (Well duh…), HClinton’s so called emotionally moment and tears (if you really think this was spotaneous, then we have some beach front property to sell you in Nebraska), and BClinton’s whining that Obama was living a fantasy and his wife was being treated unfairly by the press (wah!…). Obama has a great chance of cleaning his opponent’s clock in SC. And if Edwards drops out, then most of his votes would have to logically go to Obama. Edwards is just hanging around hoping to sweep in when he hopes Obama and HClinton will start bickering w/each other.

I am so sick of the Clinton’s. Why would anybody want 8 more years of scandal’s and broken promises. I like Obama’s ideas and the fact that he doesn’t owe any political favors. Obama won’t get the nomination from the party if he doesn’t win in SC and FL. Personally, I think I’d vote Republician before I vote for a Clinton. Hopefully, Obama will get Richardson’s votes now that he’s dropped out.
