On the one hand, it is always nice to get a check in the mail. But does this really do anything to boost the economy? When we received our check a few years back, it was the same week that we went on vacation... so guess where that money went. I guess the point of this is to spend it and put the money back into the economy. I will have to pay attention this time to really see if this will have a good impact on the economy.
