Watching the wrong fight!

Ok, I admit it. I got caught watching the wrong fight. I thought the real fight was going to be in Nevada but it was in New York. In Nevada Barack Obama took an L to Hillary Clinton for the second time setting up a showdown in South Carolina that will be even more interesting while in Madison Square Garden in NY two old fighters put on what I heard was a decent showing. Well I guess you can’t be right all of the time, go figure.

The unfortunate thing about this "fight" is that Obama is playing into the Clintons' hands. If he doesn't "defend" himself, he comes off looking weak. However, in defending himself by attacking the Clintons (which, how can you not?), it appears that he can't handle conflict well. He's taken the high road through most of this campaign, yet, when you're fighting junkyard dogs, it's hard to fight fair. I pray that Obama does not play into the Clinton's hands, and I hope that America (not just Black America) can see through the fear of the Clintons. By the way, I live in Atlanta, and on Monday, Ebenezer Baptist Church held their annual MLK, Jr. Commemorative Service. Bill Clinton was there. But before he spoke, Atlanta's mayor, Shirley Franklin (who's a "preacher" in her own right) fired off a not-so-subtle retort to Clinton's "fairy tale" claims of Obama, in addition to other comments of national importance. She received a standing ovation; yet Clinton remained seated. Passive-aggressive, I'd say.
