In Response to: The Dad is Chillin this Week!!!
BMWK family I just wanted to report that that Dad was not chillin as much as he claimed he was going to!!.. When I returned home yesterday, my plants were watered and the house was clean!!! It was nice. He even went into the girls room and made their beds…and straightened up their toys ..so that they would come home to a nice clean room…. Now that was special!!!! Also, he cleaned up our room and put all of those decorative pillows back on the bed ( the ones that he hates..because he sees no purpose for a bunch of pillows that you put on the bed and then take off the bed each day.)
It was nice to come home to such a clean house..Thanks DAD!!!

Fellas a word of advice:
If your significant other is returning from an out of town trip this all you need to do-
As the clock ticks down on your last few minutes of Man Time.
A)Vault out of bed or off of your favorite couch
B) Pause ESPN (Tivo/DVR is a must)
C) Clean like you’ve never cleaned before, at a maddening feverous pitch. (The point is to get it done soon, I can only clean so long before burn out comes upon me so it’s important to squeeze everything into this period.
D) Leave no signs that you were living like your old single slob days. (She’ll never know that earlier that day if she had walked in she would be able to see your wardrobe from the entire week laying around the room.)
How you had the house during the entire week won’t make a difference as long as you’ve got it straight when everyone gets home.

As long as it looks better than it did before they left, it does not matter that you probably spent a whole day cleaning up after yourself and adding some extra touches to it. I. E. putting the extra pillows back on the bed. Making the beds in the girls room, even picking up toys and watering the plants. Plus Thedad we would have all found out what you did or didn’t do.. lol
