   Exactly!! That’s why I, as a 40-year old single have no children — and don’t plan to until I have job making wnough money (legally) to provide and care for them to a middle-class level

   Now the brothers who could use this message probably won’t be the ones listening or sitting in the “AMEN” corner. I agree with rawdawgbuffalo, that this is something that should be played on BET each day and let them meditate on that. I still have hope for the ones who don’t have hope for themselves. There is hope. People do what they do because it is the only thing that they know or have seen. Their world is limited and there mindset is narrow. I’m praying that the cycles are broken so that our babies can have a hope for a future. God Bless Them and be with them.

   Hip Hop back in the day used to have a real message! Remember “Self-Destruction” or “U.N.I.T.Y.”? I agree that BET needs to play this video EVERY DAY ALL DAY!

   Ladies - we can help get this message out. I have made it a point to never date a man who doesn’t take care of his children.

   I’ve had to dismiss some men who seemed to be perfect, because there is nothing more unattractive than a man who ignores his children and lets them go without.

   I love this song, it’s classic.

   I agree with kim, I don’t date men that do not take care of and have a healthy relationship with their children. You must do both because just paying child support every month is not enough.

   Good video, however it takes two to tango and lot of girls must select, decent men, instead of those useless men. Don’t give up themselves, to men who are knaves!
