UK’s Daily Mail Pulls Down Bogus Story
After 7 days of fighting BMWK buddy NML scored a victory when the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper pulled an article offline that contained 26 inaccurate falsehoods directed at NML. After being duped into an interview, being lied to when told what the article would be about and what her role would be and dealing with a reporter that just made up whatever made the story sound good she pulled out a victory when they pulled the article down today. You can go over to her personal blog. to get up to speed if you didn’t see my original post a few days back. What’s most impressive to me was the impact NML had on her friends and fellow bloggers. There were over 20 posts on various blogs from around the globe that I’m at least aware of and lots of comments, all showing support for her. Even people that read the article and came to her blog to condemn her were turned into readers when they realized they had been hoodwinked. So… congrats NML, if you wind up owning the Daily Mail when it’s all said and done can TheMom and me get a column ![]()

LOL to that last sentence!
the whole fiasco represents the ugly side of the blogosphere. for a while i considered anonymous blogging for this reason. such a scary thought to know something like this can happen to anyone. so glad she was persistent and that she has great blogging buddies like you all!
