This is too funny. I have a dark green Lexus and the woman at the end of the video looks like my twin, when I do my wash and go hair. Happy Bday to me. Who does not like Brian McKnight? Thanks for the video!
I used to love this joint (despite the shameless sampling of the late great Curtis Mayfield)! As a got older, started writing, and really listening to lyrics in hip-hop--as well as listening to others recite the lyrics in hip-hop--I wonder how many of my peers became hypnotized by the beat, tight production, and both memorized and internalized the song via lyrics like "hit you off, then I'm ghost something proper like/two things I never do: fall in love or drop a mic." Still, this was ok while there was a counterbalance of super conscious hip-hop (Mary J/Method Man's cover of Marvin & Tammy around the same time), but we don't have that anymore. Just pointing out the other side of the coin.
