Bye-Bye Atlanta!

(This post is from both of us)

We’ve wrapped up our mini vacation and it’s time to get back to the grind. We definitely needed a break for work and getting away from the kids for a few days always does wonders for the relationship. Some of the highlights of our trip included:

  • Meeting up with some fellow bloggers and putting faces with names.
  • TheMom’s highlight was seeing Babyface one morning when we were in the workout room of our hotel. I was laughing at her as she tried to keep her cool.
  • Catching up with family and old friends that are in Atlanta.
  • Spending some QT with each other.
  • Exploring old places and discovering new spots.
  • Going to the pool and not having to worry about the kids
  • Getting my fried Alligator from Pappadeaux’s (TheMom is officially hooked!)

All in all it was an eventful trip, everything went down the way it was supposed to for the most part except one meeting we were trying to make happen and a trip to BrainCell (we were riding up and down Edgewood but couldn’t find the spot – it was my fault, I didn’t write down the street number.) Until next time Atlanta, we’re back to the DMV.

Glad that you two had a great time, it is important to take a break from the kids at least twice a year if you have a good babysitter, there is nobody like Grandma to help out. Be safe on your journey home.

LOL

Glad you all had a good time, its nice to be able to get away. @TheDad – I still got my face twisted up on the fried alligator, but i “may” have to try it the next time i’m in ATL. @TheMom i’m a babyface fan as well, and i know i would have acted up and busted out a two-step singing one of his songs, so good for you for trying to keep your cool.

Thanks for sharing, Get back safe!
