30 July 2008 162 views One Comment

The LA City Council passed a law yesterday that put a one year ban on the opening of any new fast food restaurants in South LA. They’ve targeted this area which has a child obesity rate of 30% when compared to 25% for the rest of the city. Their aim is to encourage more sit down restaurants with healthier food choices to open in the area.

Be on the lookout for a post we’ll be doing soon. We’ve found a quick and healthy food choice that your kids will enjoy. We’ll share it with you later this week!
