We Need You Again!!! Pretty Please!!

Black Weblog Awards
In our qeust to further the blog here at blackandmarriedwithkids.com we need one more big favor from you, our readers. A little ways back we asked and you responded by getting us nominated for not one but two black web awards. Now we need to do it one more time. This time around it’s for the Black Weblog Awards which is run by a guy I met when we were in Atlanta at the BWB social.

My man Averagebro.com took home an award last year and he told me that put his blog on the map as far as more readers and more notice. This one is set up a little different than the other you just go to the page, put in your info and then enter the site names you want to nominate for each category. To make it easy for you, copy and paste this: http://184.168.89.220

Here’s the deal from their site www.blackweblogawards.com:

Each category will have two winners. The voting public will submit websites for blogs via our nomination form from August 1-16.

The top three most nominated blogs in each category will become finalists which the voting public will vote on via the finalist form. Our panel of judges will select their favorites (ranked on a weighted system) from the entire pool of nominees. These will all take place from August 17-31.

The winners will be announced on September 4.

I think our name would look great in Best Culture Blog or Best New Blog categories, hint, hint… :-)

Thanks so much for helping us out with taking BMWK to the next level. We have some more big things coming down the pipe so make sure to keep checking us out. Also FYI… the black web awards are still taking votes, we put a button on the left side of the page if you want to help us out on that front also by continuing to vote there too.
