Our 6 year old spent a good chunk of the summer with her grandparents and when she arrived home I had something really special for her. A brand spanking new T from Verymeri.com. The T-Shirt read, “First Grade Rocks” (like the one above in the pic) and she ate it up (like I knew she would, I am her daddy after all). Verymeri has a complete line of T’s that were actually designed by kids and a portion of sales go back to community organizations so they seem to be doing their part.
In an effort to stay away from shirts with obsessive skulls on them for our son and shirt’s showing our baby girl’s belly we’ve moved to buying a lot of items from creative outlets on the web and if you consider doing the same you should definitely check out Verymeri.

To the dad, you rock. The Obama shirts were awesome too. You make a special effort to stay ahead of game with the family so much love to you.
Love the shirts!
What a great dad. This is the kind of stuff kids remember–it’s a small token, but this is the kind of stuff that matters.
I know what you mean about the skulls. My second grader just had to have one, and I allowed him that. But no more than that! It’s so… macabre.
Have you seen http://www.threadless.com? Their shirts come in kid sizes, if you find a shirt that you dig. Some of their stuff is kinda weird, but when I find a whimsical one, I’m all over it. PLUS, my boys aren’t wearing what everyone else is all the time and that’s cool.
