A group of nuts from Kansas that call themselves Westboro Baptist Church  have claimed they plan to picket Bernie Mac’s memorial service on Saturday in Chicago. You may remember this group or seen them in the news, they are a white congregation from Kansas that pickets gay funerals and were all over the news when the started to picket the funeral processions of soldiers killed in the Iraq war.

We often discuss school and parenting and who’s at fault for this and that but today I ran across a story that I think is a stretch for the parents to pin this on the school.
Back in Feb. an eighth grade boy was shot and killed in his California classroom by a fellow student. The family is blaming the local school district because even though there is a dress code they allowed him to wear feminine clothing and makeup.

On the way home yesterday I was flipping through the radio dial as I normally do and ran across Monique’s radio show.
