Oh BTW, KJ digs those girls especially the one that's his age. I think Sasha.......Nice to have a dad in the home. He misses that.....but Michael Phelps has given him some inspiration after hearing Phelps say "My mom is my hero." He watched the entire Olympics on the US channel (NBC) and sometimes the Canadian channel CBC which showed the Canadian atlethes to support me.

I didn't watch it. I'm personally done with the whole election coverage. I know who I'm voting for and nothng short of a serious scandal will make me change my mind.
I like Michelle but I wish she would've taken a back seat like Mccain's wife. Though blacks love her, a lot of whites think that she's brash and don't like the fact that she's talked openely about her husbands bad traits in public.
Michelle is a good speaker, but the content of her speech seemed very scripted, and probably written by a crack team of speech writers. I'm sure she rehearsed it for several days. The speech said all the right things, but was hardly recognizable from her unscripted words spoken over several years ... like "America is a mean country' ... 'In my adult life, I've never been proud to be an American until now" ... and does not reflect her many years as the follower of Jeremiah Wright's black liberation philosophy ... which she also exposed her young daughters to for several years ... hardly the typical American family that they're now trying to package and sell to the Amerian people. Michele's speech more accurately resembles an expedient attempt at damage control by way of an immediate severe, and not very believable magical massive makeover. Furthermore, Barack and Teddy, who would like you to believe they are above reproach, have been elevated to sacred cow status. I enjoyed the speech. I want to know the woman behind/beside the man because a woman is the back bone of each family. I want to know who they are and what their family life is like. I hope when Mr. Obama speaks on Thursday that it is more about his political agenda. Most ppl feel that he has not given much of a platform as a presidential nominee. As far as her speech being scripted we all do that. I practice speeches for work in the mirror and even practice asking for a pay raise. If we don't practice how are we to make others believe in what we are saying? I am a natual comedian, at work I can't be that 24/7. Not everyone will get your wit or sense of humor when you are being serious trying to sell them something. Mrs. Obama was selling us something with her speech last night. I bought it hook, line and sinker. Add in 2 beautiful daughters and that is just sealing the deal. LOL.
I think Mrs. Obama is very well poised, confident and passioniate. I don't want any First Lady to not be vocal about the change that Our Country will go through. As long as it is not in a "matter of fact' way. Many First Ladies have helped their husbands/The Peoples President, even if she is there to only listen. I think Mrs. Obama's speech/words gave Obama much needed Brownie Points for the undecideds. I know who I am voting for and nothing is going to change my mind. I am just glad that I/we got to see her in a different way. I especially like learning more about a couple who are married and making it work. Nothing wrong with using it as inspiration in my own marriage. I have never seen a President and The First Lady on so many covers of magazines since JFK. People are curious/intriqued. That is human nature. We are even curious about pepple in the spotlight that we may love to hate, i.e. Omarosa.
I will watch Hillary speak tonight. I know she would rather not, but even she is not dumb enough to want another Republician as president. Hillary is needed and I know that she will do a good job. She is a seasoned politician and some times you do have to swallow your pride and do the right thing. I have always admired Hillary. She can get under your skin because she knows the mans world of politics and knows how to run with the best of them. I want her to give John Mccain a run for his money. I don't care if she has to hit below the belt and get mad about the negative adds that Mccain has been airing since Sunday with her talking about Mr. Obama. Hillary said something like "Mccain is a politican and Barak gives speeches'. In my opinion, I have not seen until lately a presidental candidate or nominee give better speeches than Mr. Obama. I still have to remember that I was all for Bill and Hillary Clinton back in the day. They have contributed so much to Our Country and I hope we don't forget that. It is time for a new change and with that "there's a new sheriff in town". MOVE OVER. I have learned through the years that most people did not really care who the Vise President pick was. Times have changed. Is Biden a good pick. You do have to say what you have to say to win the Presidential Spot in The White House. All is fair in politics. I heard that Biden likes the sistas. His first born son is also biracial. I will have to do some research on that. In my opinion, as of years past. The First Lady was the Vice President, she just got the title of First Lady.
