in Giveaways

Your favorite blog, Black and Married With Kids.com is teaming up with Pampers to give two of our readers a coupon that’s good for One Free Jumbo Bag of any size Pampers, Diapers or Pants. These coupons don’t run out until 9/30/10 so if you’ve got a bambino on the way this is on time for you too! Times are getting tough so why not get something for free?

All you have to do is leave a comment about your baby or baby to be. Tell us how cute they are, what their favorite things are, what you plan to do when the baby gets here or how you’re planning for the baby that’s on the way. It doesn’t matter just leave a baby comment and don’t forget to put your email address in the appropriate box so we can contact you if you win.

We also want to take this opportunity to introduce you to Pampers newest line of diapers “Swaddlers Sensitive”. Swaddlers have been around for a while (and actually what they gave us at the hospital when we first had our babies) but the Swaddlers Sensitive has new features such as:

  • Wetness Indicator- A strip on the outside of the diaper that changes from yellow to blue when your baby is wet
  • Absorb-Away® Liner- Helps protect your baby’s delicate skin by keeping wetness and mess away
  • Umbilical cord Notch (for Newborn size)- Helps keep the diaper away from your baby’s sensitive cord area
  • Gentle & Hypoallergenic – Helps keep your baby’s skin looking healthy
  • Ultra Breathable - Allows air to reach your baby’s skin while the diaper is on
  • Soft and Stretchy Sides- For a comfortable and flexible fit for your baby

We tried to sway away from Pampers at various points but the diaper rashes that other brands cause keep us coming back :-) . Try out Swaddlers Sensitive the next time you pick up a pack of Pampers and don’t forget to leave a comment so you can register for the giveaway!

Hello,

We are currently 7 months pregnant with our THIRD boy! LOL! There are no girls in the cards for us. We are nonetheless very excited. His older brothers are very excited also. We think this is going to be a big boy! I have my other two sons (age 6 and 3) rubbing on my belly and saying ‘Hi PJ’! My 3 year old lifts his shirt all the time and says ‘Baby mommy BABY!’ LOL! We are trying to be proactive by purchasing diapers, formula, breastfeeding needs, and clothes now so it won’t be so much pressure when our little bundle gets here. I have a master excel spreadsheet going as we speak! Times are tight, so I appreciate BMWK giving us the opportunity to win FREE diapers. We’ll take all the free we can get (especially with THREE hungry boys!)

Thank You.

Hello,

Thank You BMWK for the oppurtunity to win FREE diapers. :)

My son is 11 months and he loves to play play play. He is a very active happy little boy. He also loves to play with his sisters (8 and 6), he likes to feel like he is in the mix. He started walking last month so he is exploring at a new level now. This is my first boy so this is a different experience for me, I sometimes feel like a new mom.

Thanks

Hello!

I think it great that BMWK has teamed up with Pampers to provide such wonderful opporunity to reads. Even though I am a mother of a young child in diapers, I am not trying to obtain it for myself. I would like to provide the coupon or the pack of diapers to someone that I know needs them more than myself. I found myself saying I would go purchase a pack of Pampers for the child in need and then low and behold I read about this.

Anna September 19, 2008 at 6:30 pm

Congratulations to all the expecting couples. Children truely are a blessing. They sure know how to put your priorities in check.

Jamie September 19, 2008 at 9:12 pm

We have a little boy now and are planning for a new one, so we go through a lot of diapers. We will be going through a lot of diapers for the next few years, so this would really help out. Diapers are so expensive, it’s hard to pay for them as fast as they go through them.

I am currently in month 8 with child #1, a fiesty girl whose favorite past times are playing the following games: bladder ball, tickle the kidney, and foot in the lung. In terms of preparation, baby has a room that is devoid of anything a baby needs. When she is finally born, I plan to eat all the foods I couldn’t eat while pregnant, which is just about everything but bread at this point. I will also hand off diaper duty to hubby until that umbilical cord falls off. (I’ve got issues about that)

Hi. I am the new mother of a beautiful 4 1/2 month old baby girl. We call her Na Na Bear, her name is Niya which means Purpose and she is truly living up to it already. This childs smile can light up a room. She is my first daughter out of 4 children. She truly is a little blessing, her life has touched all of my three boys, from the one at UT Austin to the little eight year old at home. All the boys said they didn’t want a little sister, but this little girl has turned these young mens heart to mush. Her little personality matches her beauty and she exudes love and joy just by her smile, little touch of her hand to your face, or her little giggle. She is full of vibrance and loves to be read to….her favorite book is Goodnight Moon, and she sits at attention when it is read to her. She loves good jazz, reggae, and classical, and gets super excited when we walk into the church house. Anyways, I could go on and on and on…..but I guess there is a limit….so I will end it at that and just say that I am so thankful for my little bundle of joy…I feel truly blessed and she completes my little family.

Peace

This is an great giveaway! I recently gave birth to twins girls names are Jurnee and Jaliyah, they were born premature but only stayed in in the NICU for 2 weeks. Thank GOD. At my baby shower I requested for everyone to just buy me some pampers. I receive several boxes of pampers and wipes..literally 230 count boxes and 3 months later I’m down to 1 box and 1 box wipes. I go through at at least 20 pampers a day. My girls has triple their birthweight and they are healthly. They love when I play classical music and talk to them. This is an great experience having two babies at the same time. It’s hardwork but it’s a blessing.

Muriel October 23, 2008 at 11:17 am

Me and my hubby are expecting twin boys, our first. I was blessed with a very smooth pregnancy (no morning sicknesses or illnesses). I am feeling great. The boys are due on January 26, 2009. We are so excited to finally meet them. I can tell from their kicks and movements that they are going to be a handful, but I am so anxious to hold my babies in my arms. I miss them already.

Timeka October 23, 2008 at 11:25 am

Hi Muriel,

Congrats! I’m so jealous I wanted at least one boy but I got two beautiful girls. My girls are 4 months today! It’s hard but it’s a blessing. Enjoy your twins boys.

TheDad October 23, 2008 at 1:30 pm

I had my baby on January 14, at 9:11 pm. I had to be induced then ended up having a C-section, but it was all worth it for my son. I named him Connor Bailey and he’s the most precious thing I’ve ever laid eyes on. Everyday I stare at him and I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to be his mom. It hasn’t been easy buying diapers and stuff because Connor goes through diapers like socks. I’m breasfeeding him so I can go through about 8-12 diapers in one day! For my baby shower I had lots of diapers and went through them all..I just bought a 72 diaper pack (Swaddlers)which cost me 20 bucks at Wal-mart. It’s tough buying things for Connor because I’m not working right now. I’m actually on strict orders from the doctor to stay hom and not lift anything heavy. Anyway, Connor is a doll. He’s letting me get some sleep which is totally unheard of for new moms. He’s very greedy, but he couldn’t miss loving to eat since we live in Louisiana. I hope we win the diapers because we are in dire need of any help! Thanks for letting me share my story.

My joy is 9 months old and she loves commercials especially the ones that have a great music beat, she will stop whatever she is doing to watch and listen to that commercial.

Hi BMWK,

I’m writing on behalf of my sister and her husband who have 6 children and she has recently delivered baby # 7, a girl on 12/19/08!! My sister is a stay at home mom who home schools all the children. My sister has nothing but love for her family and the Lord and my brother in-law is a barber and an amazing father. My nieces looks like she’s storing nuts in her mouth for the winter with those fat cheeks of her’s. She’s such a happy baby and loves to smile for the camera. As you can imagine, being just over a month old, she goes through tons of diapers a day. My youngest nephew is 2 1/2 years old and he is fighting being potty trained tooth and nails so, to win FREE diapers for baby girl would be a great help to my sister!!!

Marajiq February 6, 2009 at 8:02 am

Hi, we have a new little boy who will be three months on the 31st. He is so alert to only be two months old. He’s already cooing especially when he sees his two year old sister and 5 year old brother.

Cassandra December 3, 2009 at 1:24 am

This on behalf of my nephew who was murdered senslessly on August 3,2009. He left behind his fiance and a unborn child. The baby is now here and is 3 weeks old. It has been really hard for them as well as the rest of the family. She really needs all the help that she could get. We would be sooooo thankful. You can verify my story if you would like. We are hoping that a reward could help to catch his killer. He was such a good person: son, student, church drummer, praise and worship dancer, athalete, employee, and friend to all he met. He never met a stranger… “JaRon K. McGill Sr.” Please help her. If anyone wants to help her or us with her needs or the reward fund please let us know. GOD bless…
