We got in a response to one of our older and more popular post about snooping on your kids and this time it was from a kid who got snooped on. Check this out to see her POV:

well, i just found out today that my dad was snooping through my cell phone. i have to admit it was pretty embarrassing. but the stuff he found on there, well i thought he was going to kill me. instead he ended up helping me. my friends told me I’d be dead if my parents ever found out what I’d texted and recieved to/from this boy. anyhoo, i still think its completely wrong. except on some occasions where you know your child is in danger.

Parents better keep a hold on whats happening with their child and what said child brings to the home. The climate today is that kids should have privacy. A certain level of privacy sure, but not total.The society we live in here where children are raped, murdered, a parent would and should be liable if so event should take place. Trust is earned and a vast majority of these children can't be trusted because they are not being taught honor or trust worthiness.Everybody who has a child is a parent. Too many children lack guidance or expections from the people who should be the moral compass of life and direction. These children will have plenty of time to have privacy when they start paying the price.

Cool to hear from a child on the subject manner. After all, I heard on the news that the new way the pedophiles are getting to the kids are through text messaging on cell phones, in addition to the computer and usual ways. I still think that unless the kid is paying the bills, mom or dad snooping is fine. Because anything the kid does as a minor, the parents have to answer for. "Where were the parents?" is a question you hear all the time if something bad happens. If the kid isn't doing anything wrong (and they ALWAYS know if they're doing wrong, which is why they wanna hide stuff) then there's no problem.
