Joe the plumber does not need a license to “plumb”. Also he is registered to vote. His first name is Samuel middle name Joseph. His question was that he wanted to buy the company he works for and wanted to know how much tax he would have to pay. Joe/Sam has been harassed and it has been found out that he owes over $1800 in unpaid taxes. I do not think he was a plant because no one would welcome all the negative attention he has been given. Joe was taped last Sunday and I too would love to know how McCain knew about this prior to the debate. I only live 15 minutes from Joe and did not know anything about who he was until the day after the debate. I just hope that Joe takes advantage of his 15 minutes of fame and gets paid for his interviews. He is a single dad and I hope he uses the money to pay his back taxes and sets up a college fund for his son.

Not only is Joe not registered, he’s also not a licensed plumber. That was a total waaste of time, the whole debate. Mccain scares me more and more each day. He’s so mean and acts childish. He is too old to be getting mad and pouting on national tv.

I thought Obama won too, but Mccain’s numbers are up according to CNN. Something’s wrong with these polls. I think somebody, either Obama or Mccain is going to be super suprised on election day.

John McCain has created this sense of, what I term, “Political Christianity” that gives his renegade followers a clouded perception of his moral standing. I am so amazed at how people choose to overlook his character when he uses it as a political platform and campaigning tool. Who cares that John McCain is against same-sex marriage? He left his disabled wife for his wealthy mistress! So excuse me for ignoring his opinion about the sanctity of marriage. He performance last night classless, condescending, and his Broadway performance, attempting to insist Obama apologize for the comments an unaffiliated individual made, was pathetic.

I hope those willing to waste their vote and a right to a better way of life on McCain are prepared for the consequence…but then again most of those people make OVER $250,000 a year so they won’t, and haven’t, really been that affected by this economic disaster anyway…choosing between staying in your home and/or feeding your family is not the same struggle as not being able to fill-up your BMW, dine-out, and shop. There are real people out here who don’t have the basics and if McCain’s wife and all their rich buddies can’t buy Prada, Gucci, pearls and lobster for the next four years so someone else can survive…well redistributing the wealth is OK with me!

But as the previous commenter said, it could have been a set up. Especially since McCain seems to know what was said to this Joe the Plumber without really being there. That’s fishy to me too.

This guy is nothing more than a fraud and a GOP shill. I expound on this in my recap of the debate. I just want to know how you have the nerve to be asking all types of questions and you ain't even registered to vote? That ought to be clue number 1 that this was a real setup.
