Barack Obama Time Magazine Issue Drops Today

Don’t wind up like me and my “Paper Chaser” episode the other night. Be on the lookout for today’s collectors edition of Time Magazine featured the Obama Win. There was speculation that it would come out yesterday but the places by my job said it wouldn’t be out until today and the Borders said it would be in the afternoon.

They also said there was already a strong demand and when a friend called the front desk they cut him off because they already knew what he was calling about. Let us know whether or not you were able to pick one up today.

    Got mine!!!! Found it at the bookstore in Greenbelt, MD. They only had 4 issues left when I arrived and allowed only one per person.

    Speaking of Safeway, I just came back from the one in Silver Spring, MD. I was actually grocery shopping and heard folks in the next aisle talking about eBay and 'stashing'. So being inquisitive I walked over to where they were and of course it was the magazine section. They've got Time, Newsweek and People. I grabbed 4 of each.

    If you are not able to get a copy locally, you can call Time magazine directly at 1-800-843-8463. They are mailing that issue at the same cost of $5 without charging s/h.

    Does anyone know where to find any of the major newspapers from Nov. 5th in print? They sold out so quickly the day of, so I just hoped that with the large demand, there might be some secret stash (if you will) where back copies might be accessible.
