I wrote about this a couple of times on my blog. And as I stated, every taxpayer in the state of Nebraska should be on the steps of city hall waiting for their lawmakers to come to work so they can raise h*ll. After all, they're the ones who are footing the bills for these children. Since my blog postings, I saw a story on 20/20 about parents who have been trying to get help with "problem" children through the state, but couldn't. One grandmother sent her son to Nebraska by another relative because she simply couldn't care for him any longer. He has ADD. That did make me look at it through a different lens. But, there's got to be better alternatives. Unfortunately, for many of these parents, they don't know of any.
