Who’s Coming To Inauguration 2009?

Pretty much everyone we know has expressed interest in coming to DC for Barack Obama’s inauguration. Folks will be flocking from all around the globe to be in attendance to witness history. 1.5 million is the number they currently say they’re expecting but I think there will be more.

This week it was officially announced that they will have the Jumbo screens out on the Mall so the crowd will be able to get a visual of the ceremony since only 250K will be in the ticketed area. They also have decided to place not as many bleachers on the parade route so more people can fill on the sidewalks.

BMWK family, are you coming to the inauguration? How long will you be in town? Did you get a hotel before they sold out , commuting from a close city like Baltimore or Philly or are you staying with someone?

Yes, we are planning to be there! We don't need a hotel because my brother lives there.

250K YIKES!! Well i guess i will be number 251:) I'm a little confused on some of the event details but none the less me and my son will be apart of the atmosphere in some form or fashion. I also have quite a few relatives and friends that may end up my house since i'm about 15 minutes outside of DC, so i will also host a cocktail party as well.
