Travel Tuesday: Mommy & Me Weekend @ the American Girl Place in Chicago!

A perfect gift idea for your daughter would be her very own American Girl doll.  For little girls age 6 and up, the ‘American Girl’ dolls have been a popular gift and friend for many years.  There are several dolls to choose from with tons of accessories (magazine, toys, furniture etc.) for her new BFF.  They even have a clothing line for your daughter and her American Girl so they can match. There’s also a line of historical dolls that teach your daughter a piece of American history.   Mothers & daughters can now enjoy the ‘American Girl’ doll experience at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers new store, the American Girl Place.

The new American Girl Place store in Chicago is still celebrating its grand opening with room’s rates from $149 (12/17-12/30) and $219 (12/31).  For an additional fee of $255, you and your daughter get to spend the entire day at American Girl Place, meals for two at the cafe, a sitting at the photo studio, a souvenir issue of American Girl Magazine with her American Girl (doll) on the cover; a session at the doll hair salon, $130 spending money and a souvenir t-shirt for your daughter and her American Girl.  Other package treats include special cupcakes delivered to your room, an authentic Sheraton American Girl bed for her American Girl (to keep) and access to the health club and pool for Mom. It’s the complete American Girl experience for you and your daughter to enjoy.

A weekend at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers new ‘American Girl Place,’ is guaranteed fun, great way to spend quality time with your daughter, see the windy city and an excellent way to put a smile on your baby girls face.
