Obama Children Start School in DC

I can never get enough of this family. I do wish them more privacy. Their dad is President-Elect and as much as I love the kids, I wish they are “off limits’ after this.
Everyone wanted the “Rachael cut” in the 90′s, I want the “Michelle cut” hair cut and body. My hubby says, “you can tell she’s a sistha”. My response, “Yes you can”. She has what I call the 3 B’s, Brains, Beauty and Body(hubby would say back side).
I hope the kids fit in well. Right now they are staying in a hotel so they can go to school (Our next President) did not want them to miss school. They will soon live in “The White House”.
My New Years Resolution is to have empathy for/with the “white” Republicians who are still getting over the shock that a black Democrat won. I work for one (a white Republician) who I have to remimd that “it’s over now, get over it”. Not in those crass words, but we will get an assistant this year to help us out. I just want to make sure I get my $2/hr raise this month. No need paying an assistant for a job I can do. Give me the money, show me the money is my “motto”. To end my venting, I am so happy that we get to see a family of color who will soon not only live in “The White House” , but are our leaders. A change is coming!
