We’ve added a new feature here at BMWK. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page at the bottom left hand corner we now have a list of top commentators. We used to publish a list as a form or appreciation from time to time but now this will stay up on the site so you can check it out whenever you feel the urge.

More importantly this list will be refreshed every year and at the end of each year we’ll be giving out a special “Reader Appreciation Gift” to the person with the most comments so make sure that’s you!

Here is the full list for 2009 as it stands now. The info at the bottom of the page only lists the top 6.

Harriet’s comments are funny and real. I love reading them. If my computer chair did not have arms I would have to pull myself off the floor from laughing so hard. I think it was Harriet who said she was out of town and knew what her hubby wore for the week she was gone becasue where he took his clothes off was where they stayed. Husbands, gotta love em.

Seriously though, I think I got ahead like that the week I was sick. BMWK saved my life. I couldn’t get out of bed, and I stayed on BMWK commenting on all the archived stories. I wouldn’t wish the misery of that stomach virus on anyone, but hey…all things work together for the good. Now I’ve got an edge on y’all. LOL

(Isn’t that just like a competitor to make up their own rules with stuff. By the time this year is out, we’ll probably have one new rule per month). LOL!

Harriet – just to let you know, don’t get the big head just yet! haha…I slacked off considerably because things got hectic towards the end of my semester and I was overwhelmed with work. But now that I am in a new informatics program, I will be on the computer even more! haha I am sure you work but I attend school fulltime so I can be on the computer all day…the best part is, I get credit for it because I’m “learning” computational social informatic skills (lmao)

Jonesi, contrary to what TheDad said, I don’t think you’re an afterthought. I just know that if I can get in your head to make you give up before you even get in the ring, then I’ve already won.

I’m so serious I took a course about internet communication and I have to assess my interactions on here with various theories we learn in class…so Harriet watch out I just may learn a few psychological tricks too haha….

Wow! I am crying and laughing and think goodness I can hold my bladder. Political Pete, if you are who I heard you to be on the radio you look just like I thought you would. “A political looking black male with an opinion”. Harriet you are killing me. Harriet you like “Free gifts”, we enjoy you , you are like me and tell all hubbys habits from bedroom to bathroom, “pick a room” and I have a story. @TheDad & TheMom, can we just give Harriet the end of the year prize because she is not playing and she has added so much to this room that she has been allowed a gift for being sick and taking care of her kids and her hubby did join us in 2008 to share his gift of her with us.
Who ever wants Harriet to get a gift now? Please cast your vote.
Who also wants and knows that “Political Pete” is the Political Pete on Mike B. and had an opionion you either loved or had issues with during the elections, but still think there should be a male and female prize for the best of ’08′ comments/opinions vote now.

My vote: Harriet gets 1 vote for living with the opposite sex/her hubby and surving and loving.
Political Pete gets 1 vote for being a man and I did listen to him on the radio and is it just me for being gone on “staycation” or did he just pop in the room and comment?

Anna,you’re so sweet. I love reading your wisdom! I also love the fact that you have a sense of humor. I’ve run into a few on here that are a tad bit too serious. As married couples, it’s OK for us to live, laugh and love. We don’t have to walk around like we’ve been drinking lemon juice and chasing it with vineagar.

You guys are nuts. Nothing more fun than a dysfuntional cyper family to make your day. I really believe that the top commentators plug in is a great idea to encourage a good chat and debate on a blog. Unfortunately with that comes the spam comments that many people do just to get th backilinks to help with the SERPS
