Best Buy® Offers Free Onsite Technology Guidance and Advice to Enhance the Presidential Inauguration Experience

Open invitation to attendees to get out of the cold and visit Inauguration Viewing Event at Constitution Hall

What: During the Inauguration, Best Buy is hosting a free, open-to-the-public event at Constitution Hall, providing a warm place to watch the event live on large jumbo screens.

Best Buy employees are available in advance of and during the event to offer free advice and demonstrations on how to use texting and Twitter technologies to stay connected on Inauguration day.  With concerns over cell phone tower crowding at Inauguration events, attendees are being encouraged to restrict cell phone calls and use texting and other technologies as alternatives.

Retrieving and transferring pictures to a free DVD, to free up space on full memory cards
Optimizing the settings on devices for the best quality images.
Printing and sharing photos from Bluetooth enabled devices.
Purchasing needed memory cards, batteries, cameras and other last minute accessories.

Local personality and stadium voice of the Washington Redskins, Mark Kessler, will emcee activities at the Best Buy event as the inauguration pre-ceremony activities, swearing in ceremony and inaugural parade are broadcast live.

As a part of festivities, Best Buy will be presenting the Boys & Girls Club of America, with a $300,000 donation at the event.

My daughter Kristy Ross and her two children are there from Locust Grove, Oklahoma. They had been on the mall since wee hrs. of the morn but it got so cold they went to DAR. She said it was a life saver for the warmth. She was very impressed with what BEST BUY had to offer and it all being free. What a deal!

WOW!!! What else can we say……the employee fighting the cold holding up a sign to invite people into the DAR was an awesome effort. We were apprehensive to enter thinking it would be a sales pitch…..but we found a bunch of hard working, energetic and fun Best Buy employees………..GO BEST BUY!!!!!

Seems like this was a good deal all of the way around. I think everyone I saw that was involved with the inauguration or catering to visitors did a good job overall.
