GREAT movie but political implications? i've seen plenty of black barbies and my daughter has a few. no big deal!...and...the firefly is missing teeth 'cause he's from the bayou in, what? the 40's? how many people (white or black) from back in the day in the bayou do you know that went to the dentist? no political implications here either. just a fun character in a movie! um…it’s just a movie and it’s just a doll!!! We're headed to Disney this summer it would be cool if the black princess is out and about in the park.
