There was another black lady that hugged the Queen back in 1991….Alice Frazier, right in SE. Let’s see if the media will do their research and touch on that story also.
It has been so long since we had a First Family that was respected and loved around the world. Our Frist Lady is beautiful, intelligent and classy,yet she does not have to parade around in full makeup and designer clothes everytime she walks out the door. She is just as comfortable in jeans as she is in a beautiful gown. When I saw her speak to the young woman at a school in London it was so inspiring and passionate that I got teary eyed.
@TP2 I am going to check out Youtube to see if there is a vidio of Alice Frazier, that would be interesing to see.
I’m thrilled that the press is recognizing that there is mutual affection. I was worried when I first heard it that it was going to turn it into a Michelle bashing, to my surprise I was wrong.
