stay healthy. We have been married for 10+ years, and while my weight has fluctuated, his has remained the same. When I see him eat healthy & working out, it inspires me to do the same. So far I have mantained the same size for 3 yrs now.

My spouse inspires me to pursue my dreams. For the almost 15 years we’ve been married, he’s always, always insisted that he wants me to do what makes me happy, regardless of the income. He’s been my BIGGEST cheerleader, venture capitalist, guinea pig, and best consultant w/r/t me pursing my career as an artist and businesswoman.

My husband inspires me to achieve my dreams. I’m glad to see this topic here today. I am trying to focus on the good aspects of my husband and my marriage, and this made me remember when I told my husband a few years ago that I wanted to write a book and self publish. A few weeks after that, he gave me a book on how to self publish, he made me so happy!

My husband inspires me to laugh and work smarter, not harder. I am the serious, orchastrating, synchronizing, scheduling, goal-setting, organizer that never has real time for me. He’s the guy that walks on the scene, jokes about how ridiculously dumb everything is, does what he has to do and everyone loves him. At first I was jealous I admit, and now I am learning his Jedi mind trick to alleviate alot of my own stress and free up some more time for me. He reminds me that I am loved, and to smile and live life, cause no one else will enjoy my life for me.

My husband inspires me because, I can be me! He has always been encouraging with my career and never complains about my kids and even though 2/3 of the kids are now back home he still tells me what good kids I have and what a great mother I am. If that is not inspiring I don’t know what is. (he always gives me great mothers day gifts and I always need a tissue when I read the card). We don’t have any bio kids together, but he always makes me feel special.

My husband inspires me to seek out and follow my dreams! I can remember when I was 17 and he asked me what did I want to do in life, what was my passion? Although I wasn’t quite sure he encouraged me to go to college and make a decision along the way. Although I chose another path he continued on to obtain his masters degree in Mass Communications and continues to inspire me! He grew up in DC but was strong minded and made sure that he would never be a product of his environment. Now 14 years later we are happy in knowing that all of our decisions and blessings were able to keep us joined together and even more thankful for all of the lessons we’ve learned along the way!

…be more humble and cultivate a milder, calmer spirit. I tend to be very high-strung and aggressive, while he is very mild-tempered and laid back. He definitely shows me that it takes more strength to keep your cool than to lash out, and it makes you a more respectable person in the long run.

Be true to myself. After almost 16 years of marriage he wants/enjoys, encourages me to seek out who I am and to be ME. The best gift I can give him is the same thing– as this pushes me to do my best for myself, him and our family.

My husband inspires me to keep it real. Because of my work, I sometimes get to do pretty cool things and get to meet some interesting people. It could seriously go to a person’s head but my husband reminds me of what is important–our family. He keeps me grounded, such a cliche’ but true.
