Test Yourself

I found this gem on Twitter and it has continued to make me think almost a week after I first read it. It said, “Every night, ask yourself, ‘What was it like to be married to me today’?”

Some nights I’ll ask myself the question and feel compelled to go apologize to my husband for snapping at him, or rejecting those 11 p.m. bedtime advances. Some nights I’ll feel pretty darn good about it, feeling like I should go up to him and say, “You’re welcome. I know…I’M THE GREATEST!”

Ask yourself – how is it to be married to you? Is it a chore? Would YOU want to be married to you? Why or why not?

These days I wouldn’t want to be married to me, I am the heaviest I’ve been in 8 years. Ever since my husband & I have been together, he hasn’t stop winning the way to my heart/stomach! He is an awesome cook and has yet to complain about my weight gain. I know deep down inside that I have to make some healthy life changes!!!!!!!

Would YOU want to be married to you? Why or why not?

I would not want to be married to me because I would know all the answers (LOL) that does not mean I am right. I want a balance and my hubby’s opinion makes me think. My thinking may be the right answer but it is nice to have someone to ask questions and check mate me. Let A Man Be A Man. Marriage should not be a chore but a life skill/learning lesson/experience as a wife. I do love being married. Hubby and I do talk about our jobs and he does not want to work at my job anymore than I want to work at his. We both know that we appreciate what we have. We have jobs and kids in the household to take care of.

I would love to be married to me, who wouldn’t, I am the greatest, the best my husband would ever have. (Lol) trying get some humour on this topic. For real, I would never want to be married to me, sometimes I feel so bad for my husband because he always gives in on whatever I want. I sometimes feel as if I am controlling and over bearing, but he never complains and then I will sit by myself and realize what I have done and I will start crying because I feel horrible and again there comes my husband trying to tell me that everything is OK. I can’t stand myself sometimes.
