I found this gem on Twitter and it has continued to make me think almost a week after I first read it. It said, “Every night, ask yourself, ‘What was it like to be married to me today’?”
Some nights I’ll ask myself the question and feel compelled to go apologize to my husband for snapping at him, or rejecting those 11 p.m. bedtime advances. Some nights I’ll feel pretty darn good about it, feeling like I should go up to him and say, “You’re welcome. I know…I’M THE GREATEST!”
Ask yourself – how is it to be married to you? Is it a chore? Would YOU want to be married to you? Why or why not?
