Favorite song to this day has to be “Beat It”. I was seven years old when it dropped. It was a combination of the song and the video. It was that song that made me realize the guitar was my favorite musical instrument. And the choreography of that video is still my favorite of all of Micheal’s videos.

I still can’t believe he is gone. RIP MJ.

To the family of the Great “Micheal J. Jackson”, let not your heart be troubled for your loved one is in a better place. Micheal’s place of residence now is free from pain, hurt, confusion and critique. His music lives in you, in me and in hearts all over the world rich, poor and colorless! Micheal said a line in the movie about your young lives, he said to the mother “I have so much music inside of me, I just want it to come out”. Well, Take comfort in knowing his music did come out and although I believe there was more, the rest will rest with him. He’s ok now. Like his song says, “There’ll be no darkness tonight”, from here on, there will be no more darkness for Micheal, only bright days. My love and sympathy goes out to your entire family. Stay close, draw tightly together because if you have never known the strength a family bonds brings, now you are put to the test. May my God and your Higher Power Bless you now and forever. “He blessed Micheal”. Much love, Angela N. Nicholson (Pgh, PA)

I was immediately washed with a wave of sadness when I heard MJ died. I wasn’t a die hard fan, but I loved his music. For some reason it almost feels like a family member died. I’ve never felt this saddened about a celebrities death. We should keep his family in our prayers and may he rest in peace.

I was at work on Wed. and heard that Farrah passed. We had just lost Ed . I went to lunch and said who is next. Death comes in 3s. I went back to work after lunch and got online only to read that Micheal had passed away. Wow!. My fav Mike song is hard to pick. He was so universal and on point. He is old school and his music will live on forever. I love “Billie Jean, and Remember The Times and The Way You Make Me Feel, Ben, I’ll Be There”, He did not make a bad song that did not turn into a hit. I have been watching many channels and not one has played “Dirty Diana”. “Bad and Thriller” are great songs also. It is hard to pick one with a man who was so gifted. I just hope that Mike can now RIP. “Man In The Mirror and “We Are The World We Are The Children”. I changed to MTV and saw my “Dirty Diana video. I love it. I loved when Janet did “Black Cat”. Rock and Roll sound with lots of guitars. Is my white side showing? LOL. Music really has no color. It’s the ppl who thinks it does. Michael Jackson was my husbands SUPER HERO, we are mourning together. Hubby finally went to sleep. Our hearts are broken. We knew Farrah was going to die and Ed was in his 80’s. For Michael to pass at 50 is a shock to all. How did I forget the song “It Don’t Matter If Your Black Or White. LOL. Thanks for posting this and allowing me to vent. I heard Michael has 100 songs that we have not heard yet. Can’t wait.

I really felt sorry for MJ. Every time I saw him running from “adoring” fans, my heart went out to him. He never understood what it was like to be a human being without all eyes being upon him. His alleged charges were serious (and I believed him when he said he was misunderstood…but I bet I wouldn’t have left my son around him at Neverland), and even with all his money, he wasn’t immune from drama, issues and problems.

I just pray that many of his inner dialog issues were resolved prior to him taking his last breath. I will neither demonize nor deify this man…but I will acknowledge that HANDS DOWN he was the GOAT performer. There will never be another like him.

And using his words as a tribute, “Mama se, mama sa, mama coo sa.” (my fav. song).
