We’re excited today to announce a new feature. It’s called the BMWK Interview With The Author and this week’s guest is past contributor Gwen Jimmere. Today marks the release of Gwen’s first book titled, “If It Walks Like a Duck… and Other Truths My Mother Taught Me“.
We were lucky enough to receive an advance copy and were pleased with the straight forward, no nonsense approach to handling missteps many people continually make when it comes to relationships.
Sit back, relax and check out our interview with author Gwen Jimmere. Listen to Gwen define a S.N.O.B. and then check out 5 of the tips she gives to them.

5 Tips for S.N.O.B.s
1. No relationship is worth tears of pain, and when you find one that is, it won’t make you cry.
2. Get a life. Your existence should not revolve around your mate’s world. Have your own friends, career, dreams, and aspirations. Be interesting on your own.
3. Pain and love are mutually exclusive entities. One exists totally and completely without the other.
4. Either accept him or leave. Do not waste your energy trying to change your partner. Your efforts will be fruitless.
5. Refuse to live your life in rewind, “one more chances”, and “what-ifs”.
