By the time this is read, I will be in full recovery from the estrogen-fest that was the Maxwell concert I attended last night with my wife. From the looks of it, his time off from the music business has served him well. His voice is just as strong as it ever was and even stronger than the last time I heard him live. Ever the smooth crooner, Maxwell proved in one song after another that he knows what women want and need both spiritually and physically. Aside from his looks, a great band and meaningful melodies, I don’t believe Maxwell knows any more about these issues than the everyday man. But I am certain his appeal lies in his willingness to let it all hang out, his vulnerability included, without regard or concern for the outcome. In other words, he loves freely.
Take a page from Maxwell’s book and tell the woman you love, “I love you,” as sincerely and intensely as you can with a smile on your face. Romance/seduce them the way you used to when you so desperately wanted and needed their love…‘til the cops come knockin’. Do it enough times without warning and Maxwell might lose the effect he has on women. I seriously doubt this, but you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying.
