Photos: Disney’s Newest Princess Debuts at NABJ with Tony Award Winner Anika Noni Rose

Disney unveiled their newest princess at the NABJ conference in Tampa and we have the pictures.

This was the very first appearance by the newest Disney theme park character — Princess Tiana — from the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film, “The Princess and the Frog” (opening nationwide in theaters Dec. 11, 2009). The debut of the character took place at the 2009 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Convention in Tampa, Fla. Princess Tiana will soon debut at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Also featured in the attached photos is Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose, who provides the voice for Princess Tiana in the animated comedy adventure film.
