I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive when BMWK was asked to do a product review of the new Sansa slot Radio player by SanDisk. It’s a new a gadget that is supposed to be great for time pressed moms that will allow them to enjoy their favorite music with no work involved. First of all, I am so time pressed that I did not think that I had time to do this review. Secondly, the ipod shuffle that my husband purchased me for my birthday last year still only has the songs that he loaded on it on the first night.
So this Sansa slot Radio player sat on my desk for about a week. Then at midnight one night I decided to open it to see what it was all about. The first thing I noticed was the ease of use. I think my first grader would be able to put this thing together and have it working in a matter of minutes. As soon as I got the player working, I was HOOKED!!! The pre-loaded playlists were awesome (for lack of a better word.) Within minutes, I was up and out of my desk chair singing to top of my lungs from the R&B/Hip Hop Playlist. It had all of my old favorites plus the latest hits. From Earth Wind and Fire to Kanye West, from Al Green to Beyonce….you name it and it was on that playlist. Seriously my husband was like…you are going to wake up the kids. So I handed the player over to him and within minutes he was singing Forever My Lady by Jodeci.
Since this is a product review, I have to say that I did not like the fact that I could not rewind the songs. You could only go forward to the next song. However, once I went forward on the playlist I soon forgot about the song that I wanted to re-play. I definitely think that this Sansa slot Radio Player is a must have for moms (or anyone) that is too busy to spend hours downloading their favorite songs. It is a great gift idea!!!
