SUCCESS: Happily Ever After: Baltimore Screening!!!

28 October 2009 343 views 4 Comments

Thank you to everyone that came out to the Baltimore screening of Happily Ever After last night. Hundreds of people came out last night to see the film and to engage in conversation after wards as we discussed black marriage and relationships. The evening was hosted by Marc Clarke and comedian Meshelle who did a wonderful job of keeping the night moving and the panel was very insightful as Dr. Shane Perrault offered professional insight and the Duckets gave a tranparent view into what has kept their marriage together for 22 years. The crowd came up with great questions and the discussion was lively. Overall it was a great night and an excellent stepping stone to future discussions on relationships and parenting in the black community. Special thanks go out to The Senator for hosting the screening.

Great film. It’s refreshing to see Black Marriage promoted and celebrated!! I enjoyed Dr. Shane Perrault and thought he was an excellent panelist. Thanks for the experience.

If possible, could someone post the name of the church pastored by the Duckets? This beautiful couple gifted the audience with some powerful wisdom.

@Kearney - The Duckets were wonderful. Elder Ducket and his wife attend Morning Star Baptist Church in Baltimore.
