November 20 is McHappy Day!!! This is a signature fund-raising event hosted by McDonald’s worldwide which has raised over $150 million for RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) and children’s causes since 2001. You can do your part on McHappy Day by:

** Give a Hand!!! If you find yourself in a McDonalds tomorrow (and if you are anything like me, then you will not be cooking and the chance will be high that you will find yourself in a McDonalds) then please “Give a Hand” by buying a paper hand. Actually, I plan to stop by McDonalds tomorrow and give a hand even if I don’t eat there.

**Give a hand on facebook!!! Most of you are connected on facebook and twitter and have your own blogs. You and your followers can show your support for RMHC on Facebook by downloading the “Give a Hand® for Ronald McDonald House Charities” online widget application. The widget allows Facebook users to virtually “Give A Hand” to those in need, pledging their support for RMHC. As an extension of the in-restaurant paper “Give A Hand” hand fundraiser, the widget can be shared online with friends and family. In honor of McHappy Day and the 35th Anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House, McDonald’s will donate $1 for each of the first 35,000 Hands shared online.
