I have picked three travel essentials that would make perfect gifts for the traveler in the family. This year’s travel essentials are: an iPod Touch, a camcorder and portable GPS unit. Starting at 5am, shoppers can buy a Tom Tom One 125-SE GPS with a 3.5 inch color touch screen (with current maps of the US & Puerto Rico) for the great price of $59 (usually sells for $169). A universal GPS case (also by Tom Tom) is also on sale for just $10.
Tired of sharing your iPod Touch with your spouse or kids? Well, you can buy an 8GB iPod Touch for $195. The 8GB version holds up to 1,750 songs, 10,000 photos, and 10 hours of video/36 hours of audio. This deal gets better friends, the 8GB iPod Touch comes with a $50 iTunes gift card! You don’t need an app to tell you that’s a great deal! LOL
Last but not least, you will need a camcorder to capture all of those fun family vacation moments on video. On Black Friday, Wal-Mart is offering a Samsung MX20 camcorder for only $149. This little number is small in size but packs a 34x optical zoom, weighs only 0.6 pounds, has a built in speaker and microphone with operating battery life of 3 hours. It also comes with software that enables smooth & easy uploading of your videos to YouTube to create your own travel channel. It also comes in a hot red color! Please note that this camera usually sells between $279 and $329.
Wal-Mart is changing the game this year, by allowing customers to camp out in stores (those open 24 hours) by their desired bargains starting on Thanksgiving Day! I prefer dragging the hubby and the kids out early Friday morning…
