Welcome To BMWK ver 3.0!!!

by Lamar Tyler
Hopefully by now you’ve noticed that we’ve spruced up our layout here at Black and Married With Kids.com. It’s the 2nd year anniversary of the site this week and for the third time in our brief history we’ve updated our layout to go along with the times and to prevent us from going stale.
There will be a few more small changes we will make as we get acclimated to our new digs but in the meantime we want you to look around and kick the tires. Below are a few of things you can look forward to with our new layout:
- Featured Content Bar- Probably the first thing you noticed about the site is the scrolling “Featured Content” bar. This area will hold top content that’s on the site that week. It will also allow us to showcase some of our older posts that we think you should take notice of and that some of our newer readers may have missed. Older posts in this feature will be tagged with a “BMWK Classic” star.
- More Daily Content- Over the next few weeks we’ll be ramping up the content here on the site by addition additional posts and additional writers to enhance the BMWK experience. Are you ready?
- More Frequent Content- We’ll be going back to our old model of posting content throughout the day. With the previous layout (and my work schedule) I was only able to load all stories at once and if something new came it had to wait until the next day. We’ll be going back to the work flow of BMWK ver 1.0 where we’re going to drop content on you all day long so make sure you come back and check often throughout the day.
- More Video Content- We’ll also be adding more video content. Shows, discussions and other types of video segments will be uploaded to the site on a regular basis. Be on the lookout for that soon!
BMWK family what else would you like to see on BMWK? Let us know.
