Ed Hartwell and Lisa Wu Talk About How They Met

I know none of yall will admit it but for the BMWK family members who are Real Housewives fans we bring to you good video of Ed and Lisa talking about their relationship. They start with how they met then how they ended up getting married one year and 23 days later.  Lots of good stuff from Ed too who doesn’t get to talk much on the show. You can see after watching this interview that Ed has a lot to say so him being quite must be by design on the show.

We commend them for being one of the only couples that is actually married on the show which is supposed to be about housewives! Enjoy!

“You want to be on the same page on the major issues.” That’s so real.

“It took 100% to get in the relationship, so you work 200% to keep the relationship and make it spicy.” YES!!

“I’m not ran by anybody but God–Jesus Christ Himself.” Amen!

Awesome clip! Thanks for sharing that. I enjoyed it.

Oh wow, this interview really made my heart melt – good stuff. Totally enjoyed seeing them in a “different light” other than on the show (yes, I am not ashamed to admit I am an AVID viewer). Some of the highlights:

    - When Lisa said she doesn’t go to anyone, but Ed was allowed to come speak with her, I applaud her for that sentiment because we have turned into a society where women don’t demand men to be chivalrous anymore and it’s quite alarming, to me, to see women not set any standards upfront. Though a seemingly small gesture and requirement, it probably made Ed feel that he was dealing with a self-assured woman of substance – regardless of the opinions you may have formulated about her based on the show.

    - The sexiest thing about Ed are his values. I mean, this man seems to really love being a husband and father, and prides himself on being the head of his family – BRAVO!

    - Harriet quoted him best already: (“I’m not ran by anybody but God–Jesus Christ Himself.” Amen!) AGREED! :-)

Lisa and Ed are my favorites on the show so I don’t have anything negative to say :-)

That was great to watch. . I do love this couple, some say they are boring but not all on the show are married. I really do think that it takes married ppl to “get what they are saying”. I do get tired of ppl saying that they don’t need a piece of paper to make thier relationshp better.(In their minds and to them, they are married). Whatever!
My motto is still the same, “If You Are Not The Wife, You Have No Rights”. You can have all the money in the world but you can’t choose to keep a husband alive when the rest of the family wants to pull the plug for their own financial gain. Sign a Living
Will ppl, married or playing house. I do love that she is the Cougar. LOL.

I have often wondered why 3 of the 5 ladies are on the show; 1-divorcee and the other 2 unmarried but anyway. This was a good interview. It was nice to hear him share his point of view and I love how he made it a point to invoke his spiritual center. Lisa is my favorite housewife she just appears sweet and loyal to her friends unless you cross her.

This was so great to watch! I really love the values and idea of marriage they presented. They both had intelligent, deep, spiritually-ground things to say and seem to share a wonderful love and respect between them.

I absolutely wish this beautiful couple the best.
