    I like this cut, when I first heard the beat come in I wasn't sure but by the midway point I was bobbing my head. Not necessarily what I would expect from Sade as far as the music but it's a groove.

    She's a gift to our ears. After J-Lo's computerized altered voice, Beyonce's repetitive lyrics (how many times can u repeat the verse "all u single ladies?) and Rihanna's suicidal album over Chris Brown, it's about time. Hey, those are instruments in the background, not a computer!

    Ahhh, refreshing. Sade is like a cold glass of ice water on a hot summer day! Thank goodness she's back. She's sensual without compromising her soul. She's one of the few singers that my husband and I can both enjoy. I can't wait to get the new cd...right in time for my birthday!

    I love it! She has been missed.. I can't wait for 2/8/10 so I can listen to more!!! She is always timeless and classic. Now a days, I can't even turn the radio on in my car with my daughter becasue of the lyrcis of many of these songs. I've listened to this song over and over!! Love it!

    It took a min or 2 to grow on me but I was soon feelin it. I luv Sade and thank my mom for introducing her to me and real music. I agree w/ambde about Whitney and the others. I heard her song the other day on the radio and thought WTH is this. R&B is gettin away from the real, that's why I very seldomly listen to the radio. I am so thankful that Sade is back and pray that she neva stays away this long again. LOL

    I have always loved Sade and I will definitely get the album . I think that she is one of those consistent artists when it comes to her music. You know what you are going to get when you purchase one of her albums. She's definitely not a 1 or 2 album wonder like majority of the newer artists. Anytime you can step away from the game for like 5 - 8 years a pop and come back and sell out concerts and albums you have got to be like that. Beyonce watch out! You aint got nothing on Sade. LOL

    Its too Sade, I need her to evolve a little bit. I'm not expecting her to go mainstream get any autotune or have kanye produce, but any number of her previous songs could be sung to this beat, so its too predictable. I would have to hear the rest of the album because this piece does not do it for me.

    This is relentless Sade. This cut is just as smooth and sulstry as her previous music. This is the Groove, and I am hoping that this CD will follow the fruits of success as "Stronger Than Pride" and "Diamond Life". I'm happy she is back on the scene. However, with a sound like hers, she doesn't need to put out a CD every year or every other year. Her sound speaks for itself. It's in a class alone, where only a few female artist can mesaure up, but no one can touch. Her music and style is on a Island of its own. It's in Paradise.

    Sade is the epitamy of our nubian sisters,queens,and matriarchs of our tribes. She has a quality that informs us, teaches us where we are in the time line of history in choruses that are the heartbeats of her peoples pains and she is the healer. All she put together have a meaning and a message for you....if you are listening.     I love the new song " Soldier of Love" there is strength and depth in her voice. The tone is a little heavy at first, but then the old Sade comes out immediately after the first couple of notes. Glad she is back . Didn't know what had happened to her ; it has been a while since she has recorded anything new. Yes, I will purchase the CD.

    Since the first day I heard songs from this young lady I fell in love with her style of relating her perception of life and its battles and conquers she has faced and experienced. I have great respect for this artist and damn she has brought us something new again. she has a blessed gift to reinvent her style which is different but acceptable in my book.     Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza to all.....Sade has been an inspiration to me every since I first heard of her. Her soulful voice is outstanding and her messages are the clearest on record. She also has a feel for the plight of people all around the globe and has a fight in her unparralelled by other artist out there. When I listen to her I gain the strenth and courage to endure and continue on the path laid out by the creator. This latest sound and message has more to do with where you are and how to keep focused and perservere through the trials continuously. I love her and hope she knows we all do.....

    To clarify things: listen to her lyrics, read them: shes sending a message to us 'life has no meaning,my heart is broken and I've lost the use of my heart but i am still alive, i wake up eat,go to work, i do not feel anything.I move like a zombie.I am hopeful that there is life on the other side( after death that is ) this world is wild ,tough and bitter, but i am still doing my best to survive.
