What I Learned In 2009

I don’t always know the right answer, but somehow, if I pray long enough it will come to me.

It’s impossible to be stressed when you have a toddler in front of you making silly faces.

Families work best when they’re together.

Money doesn’t guarantee happiness, but it’s nice when your financial affairs are in order.

A positive outlook usually brings a good day.

It feels really good to have a “signature dish” that your family members request you make specifically for them.

It’s so important to lean on the people you love in times of stress.

Evaluate how you spend your time in order to gain more time doing what you love.

Live your life as if this moment is all you have.

Tell your loved ones, “I love you,” every time they’re in your presence.

A challenging day at work just means you’ll be that much wiser the next time you encounter a similar situation.

BMWK family – tell us, what did you learn this year?

What I learned in 2009? Being laid off was God's way of telling me to slow down and smell the roses Took the time to reinvent myself and figured out what I really want It is ok to take time for myself and still be a great mom Have no regrets going forward Do Me For Me Enjoy the time we have now Laugh until you cry and pray often
