Check out the audio from yesterday’s Cocoa Mode show with Shawna Renee on Sirius\XM Channel 169. We talked about the release of our new film, You Saved Me and how communities across the country are using Black Marriage Day to change the perception of marriage in the African American community. (Keep checking back, we’ll be uploading You Saved Me coverage all day.)

What a great interview. “Black Marriage Day”. I like the meaning behind that. My husband and I may be unknowing examples of marriage. Yes we as women do have to nag our husbands to get a check up. Someone had a reply comment on this site long ago that nagging a man is not a good thing. LOL. I don’t nag my husband to go to the doctors. I softly nag which is/was a suggestion. LOL. Married people are healthier because you have someone else to think about. In the opening of the inteview, the “Movie 27 Dresses” along with other movies were mentioned. I don’t know 27 married couples, well I do but they are not in “my circle” and I don’t ask for marriage advice from them. They tell me their troubles. Marriage is what you make it, but it does take two to want it. Is it true that only people in the Midwest celebrate Sweetest Day? No wonder others in my cyber world don’t know what I am talking about. LOL. I will pray that “Black Marriage Day” is recgonized in all zip codes. Great job Mr. & Mrs. Tyler. Shout out to Shawna Renee for having Lamar and Ronnie as new additions to the show. I did like how the interview started out with the song “Let’s Get Married and ended with Love And Marriage. Congrats to you Lamar and Ronnie, you are all over the map planting your cause. Marriage can be a wonderful thing.
