Whenever you are getting ready to invest in anything in life (i.e. career, education, volunteerism, exercise regimen, new diet, professional organizations) you have to do your research. You really need to know what you are getting yourself into. Recently, I have been looking for a car and I just hear my friend Sima in my head saying, “Feaster, you have to do your research.” Well she is right, you have to know everything about what you are getting ready to get into. Anytime you are doing something, even when you are joining an organization or applying for a job you need to research the background because people will tell you anything.
That’s why you need to read the reviews and see the results of various opinions of others. Yes, you have to formulate your own decision, but it doesn’t hurt to hear others experiences so you determine if it meets your needs, standards, quality, and of course the right price. Similarly, when it comes to your mental, physical, and spiritual health – DO YOUR RESEARCH. Often times we get on these crazy diets and try certain foods and we don’t get the results we want because we didn’t do our research and/or didn’t count the cost of the investment. So we end up wasting money, food, and time in turn not being satisfied. So, do your research and know what you are getting yourself into. This also goes for recipes, exercise routines, diet regimens, or even choosing a personal trainer. So, I encourage you all to do do your research on whatever you choose to pursue….what might work well for one person might not work for you!!!
