VIDEO: Honey Do The Web Series -Understanding the Value of Quality Alone Time

In this episode, Akilah and Denene get down and dirty on what wives looking for a little quality “me time” need from their husbands in order to fully enjoy themselves when we they go out and what it takes for them to return to the house recharged, refreshed and with the energy they need to give some quality time to their men. (Translation: Hook us up before that pole dancing class, and we might just come back and show you a few of the moves we learned—OWWWW!)

This is a great show and a wonderful reminder to men to step up. My wife used to tell me when it came to her "prep time" to step up more and take on more of the responsibility. Guess what i said to her...."Step Down". I said step down because ultimately she's responsible for her happiness and she has the ability to release herself from all of the mental chatter. If I can roll out... you can to. I roll out because I trust you and I trust that what needs to be done in the house will be taken care of. She took heed to what I said....and released herself from the need to control everything in the home. In doing that she realized...oh..the kids will be fed, bathed and in bed on time, and the house somewhat neat. So I often encourage women to Step Down...but simultaneously tell men to do their job and Step Up.
