VIDEO: Denzel Washington Delivers Commencement Address At UPenn

Academy-Award winner Denzel Washington delivers some words of wisdom to the University of Pennsylvania’s Class of 2011. One nugget: “Do you have the guts to fail? If you don’t fail, you’re not even trying.”

He talked about blowing one of his first auditions and later returning to that same theater for his Tony-Award winning performance in the Broadway play, Fences, some 20 years later.
