Traveling to see the in-laws this Labor Day weekend or just passing through Denver? Whatever reason takes you to Denver, Colorado from September 2 through September 5, be sure and stop by downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park for the city’s 28th annual A Taste of Colorado festival.

This years festival promises a variety of international foods (Indian, Mexican, Mediterranean, Japanese, Italian and Caribbean to name a few), the best ribs in America and celebrity chef demonstrations.

There’s nonstop fun for the entire family including carnival rides, games, magic shows, clowns and puppets on the KidzStage. Learn about the states western heritage and culture in the Festival of Mountain & Plain area.

What’s a festival without entertainment? The Taste of Colorado festival delivers some of the best entertainment. Colorado’s best dance crew, Break EFX, delivers its uplifting message of HIP-HOP (Higher Inner Peace-Helping Other People) on Saturday and Sunday. The fun wraps on Monday at 5:30 pm with a special performance by the best selling R&B group Boyz II Men.

The festival is open daily till 10 pm and Monday until 8 pm. Remember all festival events and concerts are FREE!

They were in Denver a few months ago and performed with the Colorado Symphony. They are still amazing! I will definitely be there to see them again at the Taste of Colorado.
