After hearing that Nick Ashford passed one of the first things that I thought about was this candid conversation and look inside of their lives that I saw on TV a few years back.  Unfortunately the person who uploaded it to Youtube has sharing disabled so you’ll have to go there to see it but it’s worth the extra click.

This Spring 2007 conversation brought together the iconic Nicholas Ashford and his lovely wife and music partner Valerie Simpson with the husband/wife duo of Fatin and Aja at Nick and Val’s home in NYC. They spoke candidly of love and marriage, music and working together through fights and arms full of children.
