Summer Fun Recap and Lessons Learned

Summer vacation is over.  Before summer break ended, our nine year was ready to start school again.  She missed her friends (who were travelling all summer) and she was excited to meet her new teacher and classmates.

As I reflect on all of the activities we did this summer, I am very pleased with how we spent our time.  And my kids said they had an awesome summer.  I also took note of things that I can improve upon so that next summer my kids will say “Mom this was the best summer ever….and they will be sobbing at the thought of summer ending and school beginning .
