Tips For School Day Playdates

School here in Georgia has been back in full swing since early August. Now that school is back in the playdate landscape has been flipped upside down. That’s not necessarily bad it’s just different and comes with its own set of challenges.

What happens now is our daughter bursts in the house from school, tries to rip through her homework as fast as possible, has to redo all of the problems and then repeatedly asks us if she can go play with her friend up the street. Below are is a list of tips that have really helped us out over the past few weeks since school has been back in session:

Have the kids already talked? Most of the time when our daughter comes home she already has a game plan that she’s talked over with her friends on what they are doing, who’s doing it and where they are doing it at?
