Wedded Bliss: Sharonda + Morris

Say what you want about the state of black marriage, but you know we think black love is stronger than ever. Exhibit A: Sharonda and Morris LeBlanc, a newlywed couple with more than a few degrees between them.

How did they two meet? Morris says:

[We] met while running track at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. We competed in the same events (jumps) so I got to see her just about every day. After getting to know that she was brains and beauty I decided that I would get to know her personally even though people told me I had to bring my ‘A’ game to get with her. I just knew that if I was myself I had a shot, so I playfully made conversations with her. Even though she played hard to get for a while, I was very persistent in my efforts. I knew I would see her all the time at practice and she had to notice me so after a while she finally gave me a chance and the rest speaks for itself.”

Persistence pays off, we see. Check out their full love story and more pictures at Munaluchi Bridal.
